Audiology is the science of hearing, balance and re

disorders. Audiologists are experts in the nonmedic
al diagnosis and management of disorders
of the auditory and balance systems. They specializ
e in:
Identifying and assessing hearing and balance problems
Rehabilitating persons with hearing and balance disorders
Preventing hearing loss
Salary
:
An Audiologist earns an average salary of $63,880 per yea
r. Pay for this job does not change
much by experience, with the most experienced earning o
nly a bit more than the least. The

ar and Cochlear Implants.
Education
:
Diagnose and treat patients suffering from hearing,
central auditory processing, and
balance disorders. Working with patients of all ages,
you'll measure hearing ability and function;

job performance; fit for hearing aids; and conduct rese
