Chiropractor
Duties and Responsibilities: A chiropractor is a person who
practices chiropractic,
specialising in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the
neuromusculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general
health.
Salary: The average salary for a Chiropractor is
$56,833 per year. The highest paying skills associated with this job are
Nutrition Support and Patient Education. Experience has a moderate effect on
income for this job.
Education: The typical applicant at a chiropractic college
has already acquired nearly four years of pre-medical undergraduate college
education, including courses in biology, inorganic and organic chemistry,
physics, psychology and related lab work. Once accepted into an accredited chiropractic college, the requirements
become even more demanding — four to five academic years of professional study
are the standard. Because of the hands-on nature of chiropractic, and the
intricate adjusting techniques, a significant portion of time is spent in
clinical training.

Reflection: I think I would not
like to be a Chiropractor because I don’t really want to be a person who
reliefs pain in the back.
